Here's a picture of the thief Wanted: Mindy and Hadley Lystrup Tody at church Hadley was fussing during RS, so I took her out and we just marinated on the couch in the foyer. She started chewing on a piece of paper, and after my conversation with another lady, I decided that I better pay attention to my kid and take the paper out of her mouth. Well to my surprise, it was a dollar bill that she was chewing on! GROSS that my baby was chomping away on a nasty dirty dollar! So instead of putting it back on the couch, so the little boy that was going to pay his tithing with it could come find it, Hads and I decided that we should keep it and buy ourselves a slurpee with it tomorrow. So into mama's purse it went! Now I feel bad that I stole from church. O well, nobody's perfect right?!

Looking for Sympathy...

So Paul's dad (boss) has a window of time that he has to get to bed or else he is up all night. Well I am bummed to report that he has passed this "window gene" down to Hadley Kay. She ususally goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps great all night, last night she didnt get to bed until about 8:30, and it was all over from there! Grumpess was up all night just whining andc rying. She was SOO tired, but she just couldnt get to sleep. I finally got her to sleep at 2:30 for about 4 hours, then bright and early the kids that I watch are ringing my doorbell...sigh....

Yes, these would be ice cubes that I have to put in the bath because the water is SO HOT!! Our water heater is set to the lowest setting, and it still comes out super hot! Misses has started sitting up in the tub!! She is enjoying her new veiw of the bathroom, and is better at defending herself against you know who! She loves being able to actually play with her toys instead of just having them float by her head.

Our Weekend

On Friday when Paul came home from school, we went to a store called wait I cant remember the name of it now. Anyway, my (one and only friend here), Annette told me about it. They have tons of stuffed (real) animals all over the place. Its a hunting store so there are tons of deer, moose, elk, and an elephant. In the middle of the store there is a huge canyon with a waterfall and fish at the bottom. Mason was in heaven!! We stayed there for over an hour. We now call that place the poor man's zoo. We will definitely be back! Next, we went across the street to a place called westgate. There they have lots of stores and restaurants. It reminds me of the district. There they have fountains that shoot up for the kids to play in. Mason had a grand time playing in the water! On Saturday, Paul called me and asked me if I wanted to go to a movie. I was a little hesitant seeing as how Mason or Hadley had never been to one before, but I thought it might be fun. So we went and saw Kung Fu Panda. The kids ctually did really good. The movie was pretty cute! Today we all woke up with nasty coughs, so we stayed home from church. Seeing as how last week we brought pink eye there, we figured we didnt want to bring this there this week. Right now as im typing this, it is pouring like crazy outside! I love love summer storms!! Well thats pretty much our weekend.

Dont come around Mason because....

He has pink eye!! The past couple of days he has been waking up with green gunk in his eye. We just figured it was allergies or something and that we would just watch it. Well last night both eyes starting oozing with green slime, and both got really puffy and red. Paul was at school, so I called him and said get your patooty home, we've got to get Mason to a doctor. So I found a place called good night pediatrics, they are open from 5 p.m. until 5 a.m. ( this was at 10:00 by the way). So I grab Hadley out of bed, pack everyone up, and wait for Paul. He gets home, and we are off. We had to go to Avondale, it was about 20 minutes away. We thought we were going to be there all night because thats just how urgent cares are. Well when we got there we got right in, they took a look at his eyes, and we were on our way! It was so nice to be in and out. So as we are driving home, Paul said "yeah I knew thats what it was" umm why didnt you just tell me to take him to the doctor 3 days ago!! Man he just is so relaxed when it comes to his kids health it drives me batty!! So now we get the lovely chore of putting drops in his eyes every 4 hours. Everytime we go to put the drops in, he just screams "I need my papa!!" Poor little guy.
